This ion-exchange demineralization unit produces very high-purity water, stripped of calcium, magnesium and other dissolved salts responsible for scaling and corrosion. It serves boiler feed and any process sensitive to water hardness — process rinsing, solution preparation.

Raw water passes through cationic and anionic resins that exchange their H+ and OH- ions for the dissolved salts. Once the resins reach their exchange capacity, automatic regeneration — with acid and caustic soda, or brine depending on configuration — restores capacity without manual intervention.

Continuous conductivity monitoring at the unit's outlet catches any quality drift before it reaches the downstream process, and triggers regeneration at the optimal moment rather than on a fixed schedule.

It suits industrial boiler rooms, pharmaceutical and food-processing lines requiring water free of residual hardness, and upstream of reverse osmosis stages to protect membranes.
