Turnkey design and build for a food-processing plant.

The food-processing plant needed a reliable, constant source of process water, independent of variations in mains water quality. SAFWAT designed a reverse osmosis station sized to absorb production peaks while guaranteeing stable water quality.

The installation was delivered turnkey: studies, equipment supply, commissioning, and training of local teams for day-to-day operation.

Sizing for 500 m³/day accounted for the seasonal peaks typical of food-processing activity, with enough margin to absorb rate increases without degrading permeate quality. Pretreatment — fine filtration, anti-scale dosing — was calibrated to the local raw-water characteristics to limit membrane fouling.

The contract includes ongoing permeate-quality monitoring and a preventive membrane-maintenance plan, with periodic visits and a stock of critical spare parts on site to limit production downtime in case of an incident.
