Industrial air treatment and filtration in Tunisia

SAFWAT designs and installs filtration, purification and air control systems for industry in Tunisia. The challenge is controlling an environment: protecting the product, protecting operators, and holding compliance over time.

What air quality determines

In a production room, air is a carrier. It transports particles, aerosols, sometimes a microbiological load, and deposits them wherever the product is exposed. Depending on the sector, the consequence of inadequate filtration ranges from lost yield to a non-compliant batch.

Air treatment therefore answers three distinct objectives that call for different responses: protecting the product in sensitive environments, protecting operators from process dust and aerosols, and meeting the requirements applicable to the sector. A single site often combines all three, with different demands by zone.

Multi-stage filtration

Effective filtration is built in successive stages: pre-filters capture coarse particles and protect the stages behind them, an intermediate stage refines, and a terminal stage delivers the target efficiency. This architecture is not only about performance — it drives running cost, since it is the inexpensive pre-filters that clog first and preserve the terminal filters.

Our industrial air filtration system reaches HEPA H13 efficiency, for air flow up to 10,000 m³/h, with remote monitoring. A HEPA H13 filter retains at least 99.95% of particles at the most penetrating size, which makes it the reference level for sensitive production environments.

Supervision and control

A filtration system degrades silently: filters load up, pressure drop rises, flow falls, and performance declines before any obvious alarm triggers. That is precisely what remote monitoring prevents, by tracking parameters continuously rather than at inspection rounds.

The associated instrumentation — measurement, regulation, supervision — falls under our industrial instrumentation activity, and the two are generally designed together on a single project.

An H13-rated filter retains at least 99.95% of particles at the most penetrating size. It is the level generally chosen for sensitive production environments, particularly in pharmaceuticals and food processing.
What air flow do your systems cover?
Our industrial air filtration system handles up to 10,000 m³/h. Higher requirements are met by a bespoke design or by running several units in parallel.
How often do filters need replacing?
That depends on the site’s real particulate load, not on a fixed calendar. This is what monitoring is for: tracking pressure drop means replacing at the right moment rather than too early, which costs money, or too late, which degrades performance.
