SAFWAT takes on an industrial project end to end: study, design, construction, commissioning and maintenance. One point of contact across the whole chain, rather than coordinating several suppliers none of whom answers for the result.
A treatment installation involves different trades: the process, pipework, instrumentation, automation, then operation. Awarded separately, each is optimised for its own scope — and the gaps appear at the interfaces, where nobody holds complete responsibility.
Those interfaces are what cost money: instrumentation chosen without regard to the real control points of the process, a design that is correct on paper but impossible to operate, a commissioning that discovers incompatibilities the study was never asked to address. The overrun never appears in an initial quotation; it appears at start-up, and then across years of operation.
Study and audit. Analysis of your needs, your constraints and the water or air quality on site. Real feasibility is decided here: without a baseline measurement, any sizing remains a hypothesis.
Design and engineering. Tailor-made sizing and design of the solution best suited to your processes — peak flows, available space, existing utilities and operating constraints handled together rather than in sequence.
Construction and installation. Manufacturing, integration and installation by our qualified engineering teams: treatment equipment, pipework, instrumentation and connections.
Commissioning and follow-up. Start-up, training for your teams and a maintenance plan. Training is not an end-of-project formality: a well-designed installation that is poorly operated drifts within months.
Depending on the requirement, a project draws on process water treatment, wastewater treatment, air treatment, instrumentation and maintenance — our five other areas, designed together rather than bolted side by side.
In practice that means instrumentation is defined around the real drift points of the process, the maintenance plan follows from the design that was chosen, and critical consumables are identified before start-up rather than at the first outage.
Food and beverage — process water and sanitary quality. Pharmaceutical — purified water and controlled air. Industry and factories — effluent treatment and recycling, boiler feed, cooling circuits. Municipalities — municipal plants and drinking water production.
Founded in 2015, SAFWAT works across all of Tunisia: our delivered projects cover Tunis, Sfax, Sousse, Bizerte, Gabès and Nabeul.
