SAFWAT supplies, calibrates and integrates the measurement and control instruments that run your processes. Without reliable measurement a treatment installation operates blind: instrumentation is what makes performance verifiable, and therefore controllable.
A treatment plant is a chain of processes, each with an operating range. Leaving that range causes no immediate shutdown, but it degrades performance and wears equipment: a drifting membrane pressure, a rising conductivity, a pH out of range. These drifts are slow, and invisible without instrumentation.
The point, then, is not to install sensors but to install the right ones at the right points in the chain, with useful precision and a calibration plan. An instrument whose calibration is never checked eventually produces a false reading, which is more dangerous than no reading at all — because it is trusted.
Supply. Selecting instruments suited to the quantity being measured, the useful range and the process constraints — fluid type, temperature, pressure, cleaning requirements.
Calibration. The adjustment and verification that guarantee the displayed value matches the real one, at installation and then periodically. It is the part most often forgotten, and yet it determines the value of the entire measurement chain.
Integration. Connecting instruments to regulation and supervision so that a measurement triggers an action — automatic control, an alarm, a record — rather than remaining a number on a local display.
Beyond the instruments themselves, supervision consolidates measurements into an overall view: parameter tracking, historisation, threshold alarms. That is what allows a drift to be caught before a failure, and provides a history when something needs explaining after the fact.
We delivered a process supervision and control installation in Gabès. Instrumentation is also central to our water and air treatment plants, where it is designed together with the process rather than added afterwards.
